Art Busan and Tokyo Gendai present project CONNECT!
In Tokyo Gendai,
11 galleries from Korea and China showcase an exceptional range of contemporary practices, from painting, sculpture to installations.
The program spread across diverse sections within the art fair: Gallery, Eda, Hana, Sato. Highlights include Johyun Gallery, Gana Art, Gallery Baton, The Columns Gallery, The Page Gallery, PYO Gallery, ShanghART (China), EM Gallery, THEO, VODA Gallery, and BANK (China).
Tokyo Gendai takes place at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center, featuring about 67 participating galleries, along with around 13 special exhibitions and 8 talk sessions.
In Tennoz Contemporary,
Connect brings together EM Gallery, THEO, Arario Gallery, Gallery Baton, Gana Art, Johyun Gallery presenting artists such as Cho Hwaran, Moonassi, JEJn, Yuki Saegusa, Song Burnsoo, Huh Myoungwook, Kim Hong Joo, Kim Taek Sang and Lee Bae.
Their works explore themes of identity, perception, memory and rhythm of life fostering meaningful dialogue across borders.
Held as part of Tennoz Art Week, Tennoz Contemporary take place across two Terrada Art Complex buildings, featuring around 46 galleries.
Supported by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service, CONNECT marks a milestone in cross-cultural exchange, expanding the visibility of Asian contemporary art worldwide.

아트부산과 도쿄 겐다이의 프로젝트CONNECT 가 열립니다!
Toko Gendai 에는
한국과 중국의 11개 갤러리가 참가해, 회화·조각·설치에 이르는 폭넓은 동시대 예술을 선보입니다. 갤러리, 에다, 메인, 사토 등 다양한 섹션으로 구성됩니다. 조현갤러리, 가나아트, 갤러리바톤, 표갤러리, 더 컬럼스갤러리, 더 페이지갤러리, ShangART(중국), 에브리데이몬데이갤러리, 띠오, 보다갤러리, BANK(중국)가 참여합니다. 도쿄 겐다이는 파시피코 요코하마 컨벤션 센터에서 진행되며, 약 67개의 갤러리가 참여하고 13여개의 특별전과 8개의 토크세션이 진행됩니다.
Tennoz Contemporary 에는
에브리데이몬데이 갤러리, 띠오, 아라리오, 갤러리 바톤,가나아트, 조현갤러리가 함께합니다. 조화란, 무나씨, 재진, 유키 사에구사, 송번수, 허명욱, 김홍주, 김택상, 이배 등 한국과 일본의 작가가 한 곳에 펼쳐집니다. 기억·지각·삶의 리듬을 탐구하는 작품을 선보이며, 한국과 일본의 예술이 교차하는 대화의 장이 구성됩니다. 텐노즈 아트 위크에 개최하는 텐노즈 컨템퍼러리는 총 2개 테라다 아트 컴플렉스 빌딩에서 진행되며, 약 46개의 갤러리가 참여합니다.본 프로젝트는 문화체육관광부와 예술경영지원센터의 후원을 받아, 아시아 동시대 미술의 국제적 가시성을 확대하고 지속 가능한 교류를 도모합니다.

Art Talks Program
| 아트 토크 프로그램
Art Talks brings together acclaimed professionals to explore important themes of contemporary art.
Featured sessions include a discussion between Mika Ninagawa (photographer, film director, artist) and Nobuko Nakano (neuroscientist) on the dialogue between contemporary art and the brain, as well as “The Development of Postwar Japanese Art Collecting” by Vivian Li, Ph.D. (The Lupe Murchison Curator of Contemporary Art, Dallas Museum of Art).

아트 토크에는 다양한 분야를 대표하는 리더들이 한자리에 모입니다.
사진가이자 영화감독, 현대미술가인 니나가와 미카와 뇌과학자 나카노 노부코가 함께하는 현대미술과 뇌의 대화 세션, 그리고 댈러스 미술관 큐레이터 비비언 리가 전하는 “전후 일본 미술 컬렉션의 흐름” 등, 미술 업계가 주목하는 주제를 다룰 예정입니다.

directors will come together to discuss the future of Asian art fairs and explore possible avenues of collaboration. The session will be held on the 14th Thursday at 12pm in the fair venue.
